Terms of Use & Terms of Service

These Terms of Use and Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Splash Laundromat LLC – Georgetown, doing business as Splash Laundry (“Splash Laundry,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using any Splash Laundry services—including in-store services, wash & fold, pickup and delivery, and commercial laundry services—you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

This agreement is strictly between Splash Laundry LLC and the Customer and does not create or imply any relationship with any third party.

1. Services Covered

These Terms apply to all laundry-related services provided by Splash Laundry, including but not limited to:

• Wash & Fold Laundry Services

• Pickup & Delivery Laundry Services

• Commercial Laundry Services

• Any other services offered by Splash Laundry LLC

2. User Account, Billing & Payment Authorization

By creating an account, placing an order, or scheduling services, you agree to the following:

• You agree to review and accept applicable pricing for services prior to placing an order. Pricing is available online and/or in-store and is subject to change at any time.

• You authorize Splash Laundry LLC and its payment processors to charge the payment method on file for all services rendered, including applicable fees, surcharges, taxes, and adjustments.

• Laundry orders will not be delivered if payment has not been successfully processed.

• Splash Laundry reserves the right to withhold or delay delivery until full payment for services rendered is received.

3. Garment Care & Processing

• Splash Laundry uses commercially reasonable, industry-standard washing, drying, and folding methods.

• Laundry is generally accepted and processed by weight. Certain items are charged per item rather than by weight, including but not limited to comforters, blankets, pillows, rugs, and oversized or specialty bedding.

• Due to operational and time constraints, manufacturer care labels are not followed unless special arrangements are made in writing in advance.

• Splash Laundry utilizes commercial front-load washing machines with high-speed extraction cycles.

• Stain removal is not guaranteed.

• The Company is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Shrinkage, fading, or color bleeding

  • Weak, aged, or deteriorated fabric

  • Garment failure or pre-existing damage

• Delicate, specialty, or “special care” items are cleaned at the Customer’s risk.

• Splash Laundry reserves the right to refuse service for any item at its sole discretion.

• Laundry may be processed at any Company-owned or affiliated facility.

4. Personal Items & Valuables

• Splash Laundry is not responsible for loss of or damage to items left in clothing, pockets, or laundry bags, including but not limited to money, jewelry, electronics, documents, watches, or other valuables.

• Splash Laundry is not responsible for damage caused by loose items submitted with laundry, including but not limited to lipstick, pens, lighters, or similar objects.

• Customers are strongly advised not to submit items of significant monetary or sentimental value.

5. Missing, Lost, or Damaged Item Claims

Damaged or lost items rarely occur; however, laundering garments involves inherent risks.

• All claims for missing, lost, or damaged items must be reported within five (5) business days of receipt or delivery of laundry.

• Claims submitted after this timeframe will not be considered and constitute a waiver of any and all claims arising from or related to the service.

• Splash Laundry is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in pockets or laundry bags.

5.1 Resolution of Claims

If Splash Laundry determines, in its sole discretion, that a claim is valid and attributable to the services provided:

• Splash Laundry LLC’s total liability shall be limited to a refund not exceeding the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

• Refunds, if any, may be issued as a service credit or to the original payment method, at Splash Laundry’s discretion.

• Splash Laundry does not reimburse based on brand, original purchase price, replacement cost, or sentimental value.

6. Wash & Fold Pickup & Delivery Services

• Customers must ensure laundry is securely bagged and accessible at the scheduled pickup location.

• Customers may authorize delivery to unattended locations, including outside residences or with building staff.

• Once delivery is completed, Splash Laundry assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage.

• Unattended pickups and deliveries may be photographed for service verification.

• Pickup and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

• By using pickup and delivery services, the Customer represents that they have authority to grant access and authorize Splash Laundry to enter designated pickup and drop-off locations.

7. Pricing, Fees & Unpaid Balances

• Pricing and fees are subject to change at any time without notice.

• Splash Laundry reserves the right to charge additional fees for, including but not limited to:

  • Missed pickups

  • Sanitization for excessive bodily fluids or animal fur

  • Hazardous materials, including needles, syringes, ammunition, or sharp objects

• If payment cannot be successfully processed, the Customer’s account may be temporarily restricted from scheduling new services.

• If payment remains unpaid for thirty (30) days, Splash Laundry reserves the right to refer the outstanding balance to a collections agency.

8. Commercial Laundry Services

Commercial laundry services provided by Splash Laundry LLC (including but not limited to services for hotels, restaurants, medical offices, gyms, spas, and other businesses) are subject to the following additional terms:

• Commercial laundry services may be governed by separate service agreements, pricing schedules, or volume-based contracts.

• Splash Laundry LLC operates its facilities in compliance with applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and maintains workplace safety practices consistent with OSHA requirements.

• Except as expressly agreed to in writing, Splash Laundry LLC does not guarantee compliance with any customer-specific, industry-specific, or third-party regulatory, sanitation, infection-control, or certification standards.

• The Company is not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing conditions, excessive soil, chemical exposure, biohazards, or improperly labeled items.

• Splash Laundry LLC shall not be responsible for business interruption, lost revenue, or operational downtime resulting from service delays.

• Commercial customers are responsible for timely pickup and payment of invoices.

• Unclaimed commercial items may be discarded or donated after a reasonable holding period.

• Splash Laundry LLC reserves the right to suspend or terminate commercial services for non-payment or breach of these Terms.

9. User Contact Consent

You agree that Splash Laundry may contact you via automated text messages, emails, and customer support phone calls regarding your account, orders, and services.

10. Allergy Notice

Laundry is processed in shared commercial machines using various detergents and cleaning agents. Trace amounts of prior detergents or substances may remain. Customer assumes all risk related to allergic reactions or sensitivities.

11. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Splash Laundry LLC’s total liability shall be limited to a refund not exceeding the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

• Splash Laundry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

• All services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

• Splash Laundry disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which the services are provided.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between the Customer and Splash Laundry LLC and supersede all prior agreements or representations. All terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.

14. Acceptance

By using Splash Laundry’s services, placing an order, scheduling pickup or delivery, or submitting laundry for cleaning, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use and Terms of Service.
